MVCHA

Players can participate in JV program with the following birth years: 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011 Varsity participation is only available for 9th to 12th grades. Grade and age requirements are subject to MVCHA rules and may change year-to-year.

The MVCHA traditionally begins regular season play in October and concludes in January. Post-season play is expected in February.

Practices and home games are held at the Metro RecPlex. Games may be played across the metro region as assigned by MVCHA.

The number of practices is based on available ice time and the coach's discretion. This year we are anticipating 2 practices each week. Wednesday @ 4:30 pm and Saturday @ 8:00 am

The expectation with the MVCHA is approximately 24 regular season Varsity games scheduled during weekdays. JV is expected to play approximately 22 games on weekends.

All players must have a home and away jersey with socks matching the current season's design/layout. Varsity players are required to purchase the team's alternate jersey. Ordering and payment for uniforms will take place when a team offer is accepted. Uniform costs are not included in regular seasonal fees.

There may be ice costs outside regular "in-season" participation. Additionally, any tournaments and travel are not included in regular seasonal fees.

The MVCHA requires clubs to fill various game-day roles. An adult (18+) is expected to fill any role assigned, and not meeting this requirement may result in a financial penalty. You are responsible for communicating anything that would prevent you from fulfilling this mandatory responsibility with the Parent Liaison. This year families are required to fulfill 5 hours of volunteer time.
